Powder might be the way to go, how much did that run you? I do think color match looks much better when you have a bright body color, I think the sting gray would be too subtle that you would barely notice.

I was debating this with my 392 wheels but I’m just going to leave them black and powder coat the actual wheels gold. I think it works with some colors and not others.

Rattle can is easier to touch up after you play in the rocks.

I was kind of the same assumption, if you get a scratch or chip, quick sand and recoat and it looks brand new a day later.

Powder coated. Zero regret. Love them
That actually looks really good! I also think having the raised white letters on tires really works for you too. Nice job!

Thank you. I feel the same way. The last Jeep I did not go with the white lettering but with the Hella Yella, it just pops.

It was $35 a ring…if they ever do get scratched to the point where they get redone, it’s not too much of a hassle to get them redone. I think the body color ones look great.

Getting my Recon beauty rings powder coated red to match my Firecracker red JLURxR. Quoted $140 + 8% hazmat fee for all 5 if they don't have to mask them. $200 + 8% if they do. At that price, I can redo them if I need too. But scars are an honor mark. There's a story behind every scar.

Body color is very nice. Red?Meh… not crazy about red accents on Rubicons. Tow hooks are nice and match the decal.

Looking for opinions or if anyone has photos.

I am debating on painting the trim rings on my XR wheels either the rubicon red or sting gray to match the factory paint. Has anyone done this to their Jeep and have photos? Not sure if the red would be too loud with the Sting gray paint.
