They just need to install a different harness. It’s a 45 dollar part. Somewhere along the way Jeep changed the harness connector. When I bought a new still bumper it came with a 12 pin connector ( I’m pretty sure it was 12) , but my 2022 only had a 4 pin connector. You’re probably dealing with the reverse situation. Where your steel bumper has a 4 pin, and the new jeep has the larger pin connector.

23 and earlier have a 4 pin connector and the 24 and up have a 12 pin connector...you can pull the pins from 4pin and install them in the 12 pin....look on the passenger side and see if the connector is connected....the first photo is the 12 pin and the second is the harness from pre 24's..

It may be obvious once I get in there, but is there a wire diagram anywhere you find that identifies what the wires are? 12 wires now as opposed to 4...what could the extra wires be for...LOL...

Ended up purchasing a MetalCloak bumper

Same, looked for months craigs and other places, only one for sale was at new pricing. Metalcloak there now.

There are only 3 wires not sure why the connector is a 12 pin
