Hello! I'm new to the community, just bought my '21 Rubi last month. I went to the Mopar site and registered, all was fine. I downloaded the Jeep app and attempted to log in and promptly got locked out. I am not able to reset my password. I called the customer service number which was quite frankly a waste of my time. They sent me a reset password link which didn't do anything. My case has been escalated because my account couldn't be unlocked at the customer service level apparently. Is anyone else having issues with the site?

I’d Rather Talk Jeep’s!
Greetings! Sorry, I can’t offer any advice however.

I love it when customer support (any company) does anything but support the customer. ? ?
I'll ask a couple of things based on my experiences, and maybe I/we/you can get the problem solved!

What's the error message?
Are 1000% you sure you entered your correct email address? (This caused a HUGE issue for me with one site, and I finally tracked down the problem myself.) I don't remember if Mopar sends an initial confirmation email, but that's one way to check.
Any chance you are double-registered? Once by the salesperson and then on your own? (I took a Wrangler I was test driving to a dealer for some diagnostic info, and they registered me for a SiriusXM trial subscription. Gee, thanks...)

I'm certain that I am using the correct email account. Here is the message that comes up when I attempt to log in:

ACCOUNT LOCKED
Please check your email associated with this account. You can also call our Customer Care team anytime if you need further assistance: 1-888-242-6342.

After I get this message, I get an email stating that my account has been locked and someone has been trying to access my account. Says it is locked for 60 mins and there is a link to reset password. I have done that with the same results. I've called customer service twice and am getting the hand off to other extensions and the promise of escalation in my case. I still have not received any correspondence.

I believe the issue is that I downloaded the Jeep app and set up an account. When I got into the app, I thought it was only for a subscription service so I went to my profile settings and deleted the account (dumb move on my part). I think everything is connected and that is the root of my issue. Unfortunately when I go back to the Jeep app and try to re-register with my email I get a message that says the email is already registered and to call customer service. ? I'm in a loop.

I'm so frustrated and at this point it's more the principle that I can't get my account reset. It shouldn't be that difficult.

I appreciate suggestions and your time. Thanks!

Oh, shoot. The definitely sounds like something they need to fix on the other end. :-/
If you didn't use your account, maybe you can set up one with a new email? (If you have gmail, you can add "." to the username. [email protected] is the same as [email protected] and [email protected] )
You can also try deleting the app's cache & storage, then delete it, restart your phone, then reinstall the app. See if it will let you login. I'm not an app developer, but this seems to be SOP for similar situations.

Since the app is based on VIN and you bought a used vehicle, I'm wondering if the previous owner needs to delete their account attached to the VIN. I know when I traded in my Renegade I needed to delete it otherwise it continued to pop up on the Jeep app even after I traded it. Just a thought.

I am still locked out. The previous owners info had been transferred to me and I was able to access the vehicle info. Still no correspondence from Mopar customer care. I will call them again later this week. Beyond frustrated.

Update, I got resolution with access to the Jeep mobile app! I called Jeep customer care this afternoon and was transferred to Sirius Guardian. I sent over my proof of registration and my vehicle account info was transferred under my name. I had already done with through Mopar customer service and thought it was one and done. Apparently I had to submit it with Sirius, too. I can see my vehicle history and status now. I'm still locked out of mopar.com and have an open case.

I too was booted from Mopar.com with no warning. I was told its because my Sirius XM subscription ran out. The kicker is I didn't know I had a subscription, and can no longer see any of my Jeeps info.

It took almost six weeks of calls and emails but I finally got my Mopar account unlocked. I was not given any reason why it got locked in the first place. It was extremely frustrating.
