Can anyone recommend a front shock to replace a failed shock on my 22 JLURD with a Mopar Fox lift?

I would not recommend mix matching shocks. Sometimes you can find the Fox 2.5s as takeoffs on eBay or social media marketplace…otherwise I’d replace all four . Whichever brand you choose make sure the compressed and extended length matches your Fox 2.5s ( front 17.5 comp. 26.25 ext…the. rear 19.25 comp. 28.5 ext…) this way you won’t have to mess with your bump stops…

Thanks. I have a note to Fox asking for their recs on a substitute. Seems I can get a set of Bilsteins or Ranchos for the cost of two Fox front shocks.

I have the Ranchos on a 2" Clayton lift and they feel great.

I think its at 5 front 6 rear. I'm a little heavier than most jeeps with a rtt and camp box in the boot. There's a link somewhere for a 3d printed "key" that fits over the adjuster dial, it's pretty handy to have since the dial is a bit primitive.

Thanks. Seem to be headed that way.

FYI not sure if it makes a difference but the "boot"/shield is pre installed red hard plastic and doesn't look replaceable if that's going to kill your blue theme. It's probably pretty easy to paint tho.

Thanks. I just want them to work. Pretty annoyed that one has failed so soon.

So I figured it out. Her 12 JLURD id Granite with rad accents all around and I put F rated 35x12.5x18's on it when we did the lift, so I am going to give her the Ranchos to help out the ride and take her Fox shocks off and replace my RF. Thanks for your help.
