When I got my 2021 Rubicon 4xe I had the dealer install the mopar 2 in lift. But 6 months into it I knew I needed higher so went with the metal cloak 3.5 lift and upgraded to 37s.

The problem was the metal cloak didn’t come with shocks so I kept the mopar shocks from the 2 in lift.

It’s been a while now (over 3 years) and am finally getting around to getting shocks that work for a 3.5 lift.

so I’m looking around and there is a fox 2.0 shock for a 3.5 lift but I’m confused if that’s what I already have? Been looking online and the shocks that come with the mopar 2 in lift (back in 2021) are either the fox 2.0 or 2.5 shocks. I can’t tell. But if it’s the 2.5 then why would I downgrade to 2.0?

Am also looking at Bilstein but reviews show it’s stiffer than fox shocks.

Note this is my daily driver and I’m 90% driving on streets. So I deal with a lot of speed bumps.

The Fox shocks that came with the Mopar lift kit are the 2.5's. They obviously are different than the 2.5 remote res versions, but the 2.5 version you have is now available separately from the kits. They became available this year some time.

I suggest using the google sheet that Anndee4444 shared in this thread. The Mopar kit shock info is down on line 45 and gives you all the various length info you need to compare it with anything else you are considering.

The Mopar Lift Kit is a great lift kit for the street and "Less Than Moderate" Trails providing you do not add any weight to your vehicle, except your basic groceries.

If you're going to add a bunch of weight such as winches, bigger tires, tools, recovery gear, overlanding equipment, you will need to upgrade the spring rates and shocks for the added weight.

If you want to do it right, the springs and shocks should be a matched package and the shocks should be better than off-the-shelf, they (shocks) should be custom-valved for you static weight and most cases adjustable for the various terrains.

For an example, when I had my Mopar Lift Kit Fox 2.5 non-reservoir shocks on my 23 Wrangler Rubi 2 Dr. there is a trail whereas I could only safely drive no more than 30-35 MPH. After I replaced my springs and shocks with the Fox Elites 2.5 External Reservoirs Double Adjustable Custom-Valved shocks I was able to safely drive 50-55 MPH on the same road and I feel I could possibly safely drive 60 MPH. There is no doubt that the shocks made a difference and allowed me to safely control the vehicle at those speeds.

Custom-Valved shocks are not cheap, but they are well worth the expense, and for your ride comfort and safety.
