wrangler sport 2025!
2025 wrangler jl sport, for the mopar lift kit with bilstein shocks.

One version of the instructions state 200ft/lbs for the rear upper control arm, 185ft/lbs for the rear lower control arm.

Thats seems pretty high????

The other version say 120 for rear upper control arm and 90lbs for the rear lower control arm which seems more reasonable lol...

What do you think?

I’d really question the validity of the torque specs on the latter since it’s specifying M14 bolts with M16 nuts for the rear LCAs.

2024 wrangler rubicon w/AEV 2.5 dualsport lift
check the size of the rear control arm bolts...the front lowers are 16mm. my 2024 jlur rear were not 16mm my guess is yours are not either....my guess is they are in fact 14mm so chances are if you torq to 200ft/lbs you will snap a bolt....

I suspect that you're looking at a set of instructions for the JL:

And a set for the JT:

That M14 / M16 typo on the JT instructions is familiar, (bolts and nuts are M16) since I installed the Mopar Bilstein lift on my JTR.

Also note that the part numbers for the bolts and nuts are different between the two sets of torque values.

I'll also add that the table for the JT also has the spec for the nut on the bumpstops wrong, as no M8 bolt is going to hold up to 80 Nm.

Just to clarify
What is the Mopar part number of the lift kit you purchased?

What do the instructions that came with the lift kit show for torque specs?

What is the size of the hardware on your vehicle, and does it vary from what is noted in the instructions that came with your lift kit?

As @BDinTX and others have pointed out this is a known issue. I would torque based on the hardware size.
