The Mopar part comes almost 100% dissembled. The paper instructions are good but you‘ll need to watch Quadratec’s Mopar locking gas cap video to see how to key the lock to your factory key. This lock is a little different but it’s the same concept.
I choose this lock as it’s a factory Mopar part vs the many aftermarket Hood Latch Locks that operate in a similar fashion. The Mopar lock is actually a little cheaper.
Take your time don’t rush and test fit everything.
