I installed the Bolt lock because of the ease of setting it up (I have a Mopar locking gas cap that has been in the garage for a year that I have not yet worked up the courage to try to key despite an excellent tutorial video online from Quadratech). Installing the Bolt was very easy and so far it has worked reliably. I did use the occasion as an excuse to buy a pop-rivet tool.

On the subject of under hood upgrades, I am also very pleased with the Redline Tuning hood quick lift system.

If you can install the bolt hood lock you can key the locking gas cap. Just follow the instructions in the Quadratech video.

Installed the Bolt on both mine and the wife's. Was pretty easy.

Had anyone installed the Bolt on a 2024 with the new grill? I was going to get one, e-mailed them about compatibility with the new grill and their response was to cut away a pretty large portion of the grill for access! I'm not quite ready to destroy the grill on my Willys, so I passed on the Bolt for now. The openings in the new grill seem to be much larger than the old style grill, but I don't know if they align with the keyhole to where it would be usable without cutting a big gapping hole in my brand new grill!

I wouldn't want to do it to a new grille either, but the portion to cut doesn't look bad IMO.
That quadratec video made keying the gas cap easy for me.

I too did the BOLT kit. Very pleased with it. And yes, I did have to buy a larger rivet thingy from HF (about $20).

That video was key (...) to me progressing today. Didn't have much time but managed to key the gascap and get the hood lock to the point where I'm ready to take the grill off and throw it in. Had to run out because I didn't realize the hood lock required a pop rivet tool so I needed to pick one up. Not bad, $20 at harbor freight.
