Don't get me wrong it looks nice inside with all of the black panels but it really doesn't seem to change the volume. I found the same results when I installed the Mopar Kit on mom's JK. Maybe the hot heads kit is better? I'm not sure since I haven't ever installed that brand.

I actually had the mopar headliner on my 2018 jk recon but was hoping the JL one would actually work better sound wise.

We have the Mopar liner in my wife's and nothing in mine. I feel hers is a bit quieter and cooler in the direct sun. Plus a tad warmer feeling in the winter.
I've had condensation/frost on the thinner spots on mine a couple times.
Eventually I'd like to add a liner, but I'm considering cover king with sound deadening material also. Mostly to try something different and see if it's any better.

They look nice enough I guess, but not sure how much it helps with quieting down noise. The one on my passenger-side actually rattles a bit in the summertime where the outer lip meets the curved edge of the roof (seems centered, but was installed at the factory).

I've installed Hothead headliners and for me they reduced noise inside. Not much but a lot less echo. I applied a layer of sound deadening material to the hard top before installing Hotheads over it.

i did the Hotheads liner also, because at the time it seemed like they offered more complete coverage than the Mopar kit for about the same money.

i installed mine in 2 steps, doing the Sound Assassin strips on one weekend, then installed the actual liners themselves the next weekend.
the SA strips by themselves made much more of a noticeable difference in perceived reduction in cabin noise than the liner did, though both steps made a noticeable difference.
