We should just embrace the ducks! All the grocery getter wranglers in my area are ducked up. I don’t see many actual kitted out offroad jeeps with ducks out here. And fun fact I’ve never seen a jeep on the trail with ducks. I was at the Naches Jeep BOH trail on Saturday and funny enough every Jeep out there was unducked. Not a single duck was given that day.

I have a few ducks cause my kids like them, so we pass them around. The ducks get stashed in a bag anytime we are on a trail, then are put back on the dash when we get home. Otherwise the damn ducks end up flying everywhere.

My kids love the duck thing! I have nothing against it. I’ve been ducked 2 times since I got my jeep. One was a Mohawk duck and my kids freaked out thought it was the coolest thing ever and I gave it to my son who was just under a year at the time. The other time we were at a local 4x4 shop and someone left it on the fender and they left one inside the store. It was for a lupus event they were holding. Haven’t been ducked since.

Kids love the Jeep duck thing. I totally get parents doing the jeep duck thing with their kids. I've been ducked a few times, last time I noticed it was a little girl putting the duck on my Jeep at trader joes and as a dad myself I could see the appeal of people doing this. I give the ducks to my daughter and she gets super excited. I just tell her "they gave us a duck cause they like our Jeep" and leave it at that.

I refuse to drive around like a goofball with ducks all over my dash. Luckily my daughter hasn't asked me to put ducks on my dash. If she did, my plan is to tell her it is not allowed by police or whatever. But I can see how I could cave in, if it is an activity that would make her happy. We could duck Jeeps together and she can keep the ducks in her carseat or whatever.

I honestly see this as a lesser evil than the angry grill.

Nope, just not interested in arguments and drama. If I wanted that, I'd sit in a room with my ex. I avoid stuff all the time for that reason, but then again, not everyone wants to avoid it. Lots love to argue. My daughter likes giving away ducks, which pretty much means that I like it also. It just seems harmless enough. But, it certainly is a topic that can be ignored.

My first duck was from a little kid on the trail. It's not on display on my dash, of course, but it's the only one I've kept.
