Have you found where this is in stock vs. preorder?
Would be nice to have this solution vs aftermarket ones.

If anyone knows where it's actually in stock, I'm interested in going for this solution too.

I ended up getting aftermarket and installing it in the same spot as Mopar. Its a smaller know but looks and works great and costs less.

Which did you end up going with. Did you have to custom make a filler plate or find something prefab?

and then added this one into the 12dc hole https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079MCY1GY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

you'll also need this one

Dont buy one from etrailer for $100 :) they are a rip off... the connector for that plug on the redark side is a bit different, but you can cut it and connect wires of the same color.

Thanks! You don’t happen to have a pic of it installed this is looking like a very good solution for me too.

I also used the Redarc. Where ever you decide to install it, make sure you have enough room behind the dash since the back side of that knob takes up some room.

Has anyone gotten an intelligent response as to why the Mopar Brake Controller (82215652AB) does not work with a manual transmission? I was told that the ABS is different, the brakes on the Rubicon are not compatible and other reasons. As far as I know, since the Jeep was ordered with the tow pkg (including the 7-pin connector for trailer brakes) the brake controller should be just fine.

Perhaps it’s the engineer in me, but I don’t accept “no” very easily when the reasons are lame.

I've read that it has more to do with the fact you have a clutch pedal bracket where they want to mount the controller box. Most guys zip tie it in place or make their own bracket. From what I can tell from other posts in this and the Gladiator forum, it works fine.

Jeff: was it hard to get that panel off and this installed? Also, did you consider the Tekonsha that looks similar but has a digital readout, and did you consider Mopar? I don't want to go with Mopar because I don't want to lose the 12v outlet. I'd rather put a Tekonsha or Redarc exactly where you did. Thanks.
