Without digging into the 54 pages of this thread (Iām being lazy) has anyone installed the Fuel Rebel 5 wheels in bronze (17x9) with +1 offset and 315-70/17 BFG KO2s? Iām considering these for our granite Rubicon, but donāt want tires that double the width of the rig and donāt want to sacrifice...
Have you gotten any further? I have a 2021 JLUR w/tow pkg and want to install the same brake controller (82215652AB), but am getting excuses and no technically sound reasons as to why this wouldnāt work.
Has anyone gotten an intelligent response as to why the Mopar Brake Controller (82215652AB) does not work with a manual transmission? I was told that the ABS is different, the brakes on the Rubicon are not compatible and other reasons. As far as I know, since the Jeep was ordered with the tow...
Now dusty (been sitting in the hangar for a while), but still for sale. Used for less than 6 months and I have all the mounting hardware. No rust or damage.
Although a successful recovery, I noticed that several people were between the winching and the winched, taking videos and photos, while the winch line was under tension. VERY BAD place to be!
As exciting as such an event can be, keep your head on a swivel (situational awareness) and maintain...
With our '21 JLUR delivered 9/23, it's no different than our '18 JLR, but the Apple CarPlay is temperamental and sometimes just drops offline. After trying numerous efforts to plug and unplug the cord, turning off the Jeep and opening the door, turning off the radio, etc...it mysteriously...
FINALLY!!! The day is here...dealer rep called me to say that "Rubi3" has arrived at the dealership after sitting at the rail delivery yard for a week. Daytona Jeep salesman (John T.) took a pic of the "birthing" from transport truck to the parking lot. We pick her up at 3pm and this...
Good-ish news from the dealer in Daytona Beach today! Rubi3 is officially a Floridian, but sitting in JAX, waiting to get a ride with a carrier for the 2-hour drive to Daytona. Unless Steve, the PDI guy, can pull any strings, our new toy is just going to sit there. UGH! So close, but so far...
I realized quite a while ago that we're all impatient 5-year olds, waiting for "Santa" (in this case, rail or truck) to deliver our new toys.
We leave in two weeks for our long-awaited off-interstate trip from FL to VT to ME and back to FL. IF our Jeep doesn't arrive in time, we'll have...
Yes, most things will fit...if they donāt, well...thatās the gamble. Since there was little indication of changes to the vehicle, like from JK to JL, thereās only a small chance that things wonāt fit...a very small chance...super small, in fact. :fingerscrossed:
Somewhat like my experience when ordering a new boat and the builder said something about a big project ahead of mine, to hold a bunch of animals, 2 by 2.
If anyone has ordered a 2-dr and forgot the all-weather mats, Iāve got a set that were hardly used, along with some new-ish enhanced Rubi rails...price Is very negotiable.
Weāve got the kayak attachment for the Mopar roof rack (rack on back order), shorty antenna, assorted interior bits, spare tire cover and the 12k winch was just ordered. Now, to get a winch plate and the winch protection bar, along with the Factor55 flatlink (in red) along with the Topsy...
You shouldnāt...our order date was 6/20...and here we are. In the grand scheme of things...weāll be back on here next year, coaching the ā22 order folks on the concept of patience and that itās all worth it. Hang in there...keep stock-piling your aftermarket toys and enjoy when your new JL...
Took a break from counting grass in the south lawn (too stinkinā hot) and checked for window sticker.
Like an excited 5-year old on Christmas Eve...it came up!!! However, I would imagine that until delivered, it doesnāt have the āMade for...ā part on there.
Boom-chikka-bow-wow!!! :rock...
We just received a text msg from our salesman that Rubi3 is on the train, but delivery will be sometime between 9/14 and 9/28. Now, we are at the mercy of interstate transportation and local truck deliveries from JAX to Daytona Beach.
Oops...gotta go, Iāve got more grass blades to...
Ah yes...it comes up on the beaches of south FL in the form of floating bales. :CWL:
I can see the need for 4WD on the beaches then.
Fortunately, in the northern part of the state, we donāt have that problem. Every 10 years or so, weāll see a dusting of real snow come across the state line...
