Found a good deal on craigslist for Mopar beadlocks. Talk to the guy, the story added up. He had paperwork for the purchase, looked legit so I bought them. When I unpacked them completely at home I found more paperwork. Paperwork for two of the wheels lo ok le to have been purchased separately and says 2007-2017 JK only.

I looked at the stamping on the inside of the wheels and luckily they all match part numbers (#68361859AA). However, when I look online I get more confused; some say JK only, some say JK and JL.

Anyone got mopar beadlocks on their JL that can confirm the wheel stamping to help me out. Hoping I'm just paranoid about getting a super deal, but when something is too good to be true.....

Thanks!

These are the old JK beadlocks, but they are 5 on 5 lug pattern and should fit your JL just fine.
The new beadlocks are part 77072466AB.
I haven’t yet been able to figure out the exact difference between the products.

Be aware, both wheels came with a nonfunctional trim ring and the functional beadlock ring is a seperate purchase.

Find more info about the wheels you purchased here: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wr...w-mopar-beadlock-wheels-1212137-21.html?amp=1

I was hoping that was going to be the answer. I assumed JK only on the earlier wheels was meant to warn earlier keep owners that they wont fit, not JL owners. Now seeing the production date of the 77072466 was before JL wranglers came off the line.

Noted on the non-beadlock trim ring. I'm in Florida so unfortunately there aren't many rocks that require lowering the psi.

For what I paid for the wheels, I couldn't pass them up. When I sell my JL Rubicon wheels and tires I will be in the profit.

Thanks for the reply.

They won't fit. It's either the lug holes or the center bore that are too small, but the JK mopar beadlocks I was assured wouild not fit. The JL part # is 77072466AB and works for both. I got mine from BuyMoparPartsnow.com for $299 each for the JL wheels.

Thanks for the feedback. I will try the loose wheel on the JL and report back. I have two of the old part number and three with the "AB". The odd thing is that the PN on the wheel itself is stamped exactly the same on all of them. We will see. I'm hoping you are wrong ;)

Update - the only difference in the wheels is that the lug opening are slightly smaller on the wheels not ending in AB. However, the 14mm JL lugs still pass through just fine.

Having reservations on the wheels because of mixed reviews but I'm moving forward with putting 35s on them and getting them on the jeep. Some people have issues with balancing and loose trim ring bolts. We will see.

Thanks all for the feedback.

Hey did you have any issues with the hub or lug nuts when putting on the jk beadlock wheels?
