I had the dealer order and install the Mopar 5" and 7" LED off-road lights as part of the order on our new JLU so they were ready to go when we took delivery. Since we also had the towing package, it seemed like a great way to start making use of some of those factory auxiliary buttons. Even with the factory plastic bumper, it is nice that only a simple bracket is needed for both sets of lights to mount them. They look good, it's a clean setup and holy crap they are bright! We'll see how they hold up in the long run, but I'm happy with them and they were a nice little add-on to our new Willys JLU.

The first photo of the greenspace facing my driveway is just the factory LED headlights. The second is with everything on. I could see trees well illuminated at the far end of the greenspace which is about 400 feet away, and that's with the Jeep slightly angled downwards on my driveway.

Looks awesome. After a failed attempt with a light bar (the wind was redirecting over the soft top and I thought it was going to tear it to pieces on the interstate), I'm probably going to have to go with a similar setup for my trail lights. I really like that coverage pattern you have going on. Question, with the configuration you have there, are the A pillar lights considered flood lights and the bumper lights considered spots?

Very nice - my winch is coming this Christmas and then lights are probably my next project.

Are your A-pillar lights pointed straight forward, or are they angled slightly (~45°) out?

Especially given you have the spots in the front, I would think you could slightly angle the a-pillars out to provide a wider spread without sacrificing front visibility?

Sort of, but not really... lol, I know that's not the most helpful answer. Mopar doesn't really dictate either one as spot or flood. Given the size of the LED reflectors and spread, the 7" is better at covering a wide area, and the 5" is more pointed, so they are more flood / spot in that respect, but they're not as broad / focused as dedicated lamps.

They are straight forward right now. That's how the dealer installed them and we haven't had the Jeep home a full 24 hours yet. :)

But they are secured with a single bolt to the bracket, and there's also a single bolt which looks like I could also give them a slight angle up or down. The Mopar bracket has multiple holes you can use as mounting points, and I've seen other people with this setup, mount them on the side. So I think you can do straight ahead as I have it, rotated outwards for more spread side to side, or you could mount them on the side of the bracket, and have them pointed more out and down, if you needed more ground cover lighting. The upper brackets and lights do some really flexible.

Another thing I like about them is neither setup touches the body at all. The lower lamps are secured under the front bumper and the upper at standard mounting points with risers, so the bracket makes no contact.

would you please be able to share a pic that shows the routing of the wires off of the A-pillar mounts?

Looks amazing!

Regarding the connections, how are the lights connected? Are they connected to the oem Mopar aux switches or aftermarket? If the Mopar Aux switches, are they all connected to one or multiple?

I’m looking to add the 7in lights and currently have my 5in connected to aux 3 which is 15 amps.
