Just to remind all the 2.0t haters what's possible with just a JB4 piggy back controller. 445ftlbs and 321hp to the wheels on pump gas. Add water/meth injection and it's 469ftlbs and 333hp. That "weak" little motor can put out more torque than the 392 with a little extra boost.

Honestly though, that Ferrari/Maserati 3.0 would be a neat swap if anyone could figure it out.

I still think that they messed up with not continuing the development of the Pentastar further. At one time they were set to build it with direct injection and forced induction. That would have been an interesting engine.

That 3.0 is what that became. It's a Pentastar block with either one or two turbos and better internals. Just never came to Jeep.

They added a turbo to the Pontiac 301. Didn't make it interesting.
