Dang, you can really tell the paid Stellantis folks pushing the 4 banger at the beginning of this thread. The 4 is the greatest engine and most power thing ever created, and if you live on top of Pikes Peak or Mt Rainier its the only choice. The 6 is garbage, buy the 4 and you will be the happiest Jeep owner on the planet, and even Mars. Take your paid forum talk somewhere else.
Yes, Jeep pays almost literally Beavis & Butthead to shill their 4-bangers. That’s really how the world works.

Not having to get dirty in the mud slinging when you know you already have the worst engine of the bunch is nice I guess.

I thought it was more MPGs though
Trying to understand how better efficiency equates to using less fuel per hp?

Maybe write it down or something. I can't write though, I'm a clown without fingers, so please write it for me.

I purchased my Rubicon X in February while I could still get the V6 with out any type of EV assist, now it may prove even a better decision that they may try to limit the sales of sixes.

Honestly it's the way the torque comes on different that makes me prefer my 2.0 over my 3.6. The 2.0 just doesn't feel as labored getting up to speed with how much torque is available so fast.
Yep. Horsepower numbers don't mean squat. It's all about the torque curve. The 2.0 has much better torque at usable RPMs. Thing is, an engine with all It's power up high in the RPM range is fine. You just have to put in shorter gears. What does Jeep do? Run them with 3.45s (and 3.21s in the JK).🤡

Jeep has been known to change options mid year. I‘m thinking there will ve a 3.6 v6 with automatic available before year end 2025.
