Thanks for your response. My ❤ is on the six cylinder. I have a four cylinder currently and its peppy and gas mileage is great, but that is not the reason for choosing a Jeep (definitely not for gas mileage). Hard top is my preference for road noise purposes. Tow package is optional, I am not sure I tow enough to warrant one, but it comes in handy when you have one. Living in the Midwest, it snows many of the months vs. rain. In other words, would you say that a set of springs would smooth out the ride in either vehicle?
The premium soft top is just as quiet.
Easy to add a hitch and harness if you want to save some money there. I'm not sure you need springs or anything else, I've found the ride is quite good. You'll love the V6.

Just brought home a Firecracker red 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Willy’s this weekend and yes to the V6. It seen its first winter white out conditions and handled extremely well even though very nerve wracking when people tail gate in extreme weather.

Some who didn't order the Trailer Tow package wish they had afterward because they would have received the Heavy Duty Electrical AND the Auxillary Switches.

I went with the Sahara because I really wanted the Front Trail Camera. This option only available on the Sahara and Rubicon models.

I test drove Wranglers about every 8 months for 4 years before I finally purchased one. I never drove a Willys as I don't remember there being one on the lot at those times but I drove the Sahara, Moab and Rubicon.

I didn't find any real differences between any of them during the 10 mile or so test drive. But I was comparing them to the JK I test drove years earlier and they all rode much better then the JK.

My favorite was the Moab as they had every option I wanted in a Wrangler but, as luck would have it, they quit making that model when I was ready to buy.

I have the LSD on my Sahara which is standard on the Willys. The select-trac will be very useful in the next few days as another snowstorm is supposed to be here at the beginning of the week.

Looks like you got your Willys with your post right before I posted this. What options did you go with?

The tow package with the aux switches was a requirement along with heated seats. It’s a V6 which was also my bucket list item. I have a black hard top with no headliners, but I didn’t think it was too loud without them. It has the selec-trac full time 4WD in it which I didn’t want, but I don’t need to use the 4H auto function which I’m good with. It’s the 24W package. So far I am happy with my decision and with the next storm coming in with 12-16” of snow ❄ I am glad I finally have 4x4 again. AWD is not 4x4 and some enjoy it, I on the other hand will keep something I can shift in and out of.

If the roads are completely covered in snow I usually use 4 wheel high part time but if the roads are a combination of snow, ice and clear asphalt, I'll use 4 wheel high auto. And I LOVE it. The traction is very good, even in deeper snow.

I have found the select-trac to be a plus with no negatives, at least that I've found. Others may mention reliability of the transfer case system but I don't recall seeing anyone who has had issues.

And, as you stated, you don't have to use the full time 4 high if you don't want. But on days with scattered slippery spots, which this winter seems every other day, it is great.
