I've had Oracle flush mounts for a while. Both have failed. Oracle warranty replaced one, not the second. Considering the 100% failure rate, lack of blind spot functionality, and poor warranty I am replacing them with Morimoto XBs.

First, the installation is so much easier than the Oracles. No need to transfer the mounting bracket. If you dont have blind spot sensors this is a 15 minute project to swap both tail lights.

I have sensors and the swap is also much easier than with Oracles. The Morimotos aren't as flush as the Oracles, they are much better than factory. We'll see if I ever need the 5 year Morimoto warranty in the future.

After just one year of use, I replaced my Oracle flush mount taillights today because one of them had failed. Literally, I just pulled my Jeep back into the garage after finishing the install and turned on the computer and saw this post.

I looked at other options and bought another set of Oracles 🙄 . I hope it doesn't become a once-a-year thing I need to do. I didn't want the Motobilt ones at $799 when I could get Oracles at $299 from Northridge 4x4. I didn't like the styling or lighting of any of the others and thought I had looked at them all. But I didn't see these. These have a nice blend between stock and a truly flush mount taillight, and don't have the weird light pattern that so many other brands think they need to have. Thanks for posting this. I'll add a link to my favorites page for the next time.

Kind of wishing I would have waited another week to order new Taillights. There is just something about driving a Jeep that looks like a ticket waiting to happen as far as lift height and tire coverage goes that makes you not want to wait to replace taillights / turn signals though.

Yeah I was worried about negative attention while it was out. Hoped Oracle would work with me on replacement, nope.

Thought about putting stock lights back on but I dislike them so much. Saw the Morimotos, a brand I'm familiar with from tuning days, and bought them through Northridge. Drop shipped and delivered in 3 days.

Packaging was simple and effective. Install a breeze.

Thanks for sharing. These look like a great middle ground between factory and fully flush versions while still retaining the blind spot monitor. How does the blind spot monitor perform vs the way it does in stock configuration?

Seems like the blind spot is pretty good. I telework which limits my driving miles. And I prefer to do daily drives during the day to limit enemy contact. I've gotten use to the blind spot system being next to useless with Oracles.
