I love the slimmer spokes on the 702s, but have y'all seen the 313s? They look almost exactly the same but are 7lbs lighter and offer both a 0 and a +25 offset on an 8.5" wheel. That +25 offset would get you about to stock appearance.

If you went with the 313s over the 702s, you'd be in an extra ~$350 for ~35lbs of weight savings on 5 wheels. Worth it?

A couple photos of the 313s:

From the side as below. I liked the MR701 design better but picked 313 since it was lighter.

Another fine option from Method.

I liked the idea of the 313, but wanted the bead grip feature of the 702 so I can run lower pressures. I am waiting on my 702s to come in now, they were delayed out of CA. I'll post up some pictures once they are on in the next week or so.

Method actually told me the 313's would be somewhat dangerous to use while aired down lower than 20psi.

they should not be any more or less dangerous than any other standard wheel at those pressures. the "trail series" wheels they offer like the 702 has an additional larger lip inside to keep the bead seated. others just have the smaller hump. I would think it would have a higher chance to unseat a bead than the 702 for sure though.

would really be interested in the reasons behind their statement on that, and would it apply to all non beadlocks and trail series wheels they offer?

I'm interested to see how the 702's look on your rig. I was looking at the 702 as well but, ultimately liked the weight difference of the 313. I didn't choose to do either.

Here are the 702s on my last JL. I have not decided what wheel ill run on my new one. I did like the 702 a lot though.
