Metalcloak 3.5 Installed so far so good I won’t have a chance to off-road it for a month or so but for a big lift and large tires it still drives really well.

Did you not do the front LCAs or was that an “in-progress” pic?

hey. Who made your signs? I’m getting my JLUR next month (hopefully lol) on order and my realtor magnet signs from the JKU aren’t gonna work.

Why would that kit ride rougher due to LCA angle? Unless you are using drop brackets or long arms the angle is going too be similar whether it is an adjustable LCA or not.
This isn't a hard concept to understand. Every degree past parallel makes the front wheels want to hop rather than articulate. In the case of the short arm kit on my JK it netted 4.5 inches and the angles were well above stock. Combine that with a D or E rated 35/37 its going to ride rougher than a kit with corrected angles via drop bracket or long arm kit.

That’s why I said “unless you are using drop brackets or long arms”.

Yes but the difference being its a 3.5 inch kit with short arms and nets closer to to 4 -4.5depending on How your rig is set up. Vs say a mopar 2 inch if indeed you net only 2 inches that difference is negligible as it relates to lca angle.

According to MC instructions you set the LCA to 24” (same as stock) and adjust the UCA shorter, that should get you above 6° caster. Then the cya comes in and they say that should be close enough to get you to an alignment shop. I’ve used those measurements a ton unless I have a specific reason I want to move the axle forward and it’s been great this kit rides terrific. The only reason this would ride worse is the bushings on the MC LCA are superior.

I’m debating full game changer 3.5 or the dual rate. Will likely go full game changer.

Been spoiled by my JKU with drop brackets AND the benefits of metal cloak control arms up front.
