Has anyone installed Metal Cloak front (Pro'lignment) and rear (DB3) control arm brackets on their 392 MC 3.5 inch lift? I understand that these level out the control arms. How are the results?

I installed the front drop brackets on my JL with a 2.0 turbo and Metal Cloak 3.5" lift. It does drop your clearance by a few inches but I have yet to hit them off-road running 35" tires. The vehicles drives more like it did in stock form on the street and has better control over small bumps and rough sections off-road. I would definitely use them again. I have no knowledge of the rear brackets though.

And you get more bling. Of course the real show piece is your six packs.

Heres a comparison pick for clearance, smaller lift.

Don, I saw a post on FB about these and gave serious consideration to installing. But after reading the comments from folks that do go offroad and issues hanging up on the brackets, I decided to pass. If the 392 was just a mall princess, I would install them. I do plan to wheel mine as much as possible.

Yeah, I can definitely see wheee those would be vulnerable.

I'm still thinking about it....I had the 4.5" AEV lift with drop brackets on my 2013 JK....I wheeled the Rubicon and 5/6 trails in Moab without a problem. I think it depends on tire placement...

Don, I had a 2014 AEV built JKUR with the 4.5" lift. Enjoyed it very much and wheeled the heck out of it.

I don't see the bracket becoming an issue on most Moab slick rock trails so much as on trails in Colorado with all the boulders. I will keep an eye out for your trail report if you do go with the bracket.

I don’t think they fit, I think there are some issues with where they mount to the frame.

I wonder if it's because Jeep made changes to the frame in certain areas for the 392....
