Ok so I have these ready to go in.

Instructions basically say bolt in.

No problem.. I'll measure pinion angle before and after, plus check thrust.

But I was just wondering if there were any tips or tricks to the install.

Like shorten lca 1/8" before install etc, etc

Thanks

I was under the impression if you had adjustable control arms there would be no need for the correction brackets.

They still flatten out your control arms and improve driveability. Not necessary, but beneficial especially with taller lift heights.

Correct.

Thats the plan, to help with rock crawling.
Less of pushing down onto the axle, rather just pushing forward. Hopefully help climbing ledges primarily.

Kind of does what long arms do.. flatten the angle.. Thats my understanding anyway.

Adjustable arms allow you to push the axle back to the center of the wheel well after the lift. Secondly, they allows you to adjust the caster angle. However, they do not return the suspension geometry to stock. When the arms angle down too much, the on road comfort, handling, and off road handling suffer.
I have both.. if you are okay with sacrificing a little ground clearance, the brackets are beneficial on and off road handling. They would get hit more than the stock mounting points but 95% of the time they don't really get you hung up like some describe.

I have my arms at 20"and 24". I have a 2.5 gamechanger. I experimented with a few different lengths upper and lower to see how it would center. This was the best for my set up and gave me 6 degrees of caster.

I highly recommend these brackets to anyone with a lift of 2.5 or more. Improves on and offroad dramatically. I am not always a fan of drop brackets (usually due to being made cheap) but these are very beefy and fit great. Great mod.
