I’m looking for a new grill. In my mind”s eye, it is a replacement grill with basic frame and full black mesh with matte black Jeep letters in the middle. Imagine the Westin HDX without the LED or Westin at the top. For reference the Westin is here: https://www.westinautomotive.com/hdx-led-grille/2018/jeep/wrangler-jl

I would be happy to have one fabricated but don’t know anyone with those skills. Thoughts?

Call me old-fashioned, but the 7-slot grill is part of the Jeep heritage and one of characteristics that makes a Jeep a Jeep. I have and probably will always leave the grills alone on my Wranglers.

But that’s just my opinion. If that’s what you wanna go for, it’s America. Do your thing. I’m sure there will be other grill replacement options coming in addition to the handful that are hitting the market now.

Has anyone noticed any difference with engine operating temperature with the new grill? I have the same flag for my JL Rubicon grill and my Wrangler also has the 2.0 turbo so I am sensitive to engine temperature. Do the smaller holes in the grill adversely affect the temperature of the engine?
