I got 11.4% off MSRP going in on the second-to-last day of the month last week. MSRP of 52,505, sell price of 46,500 (plus tt&l, of course). I did pay $800 extra for the ceramic paint protection and interior protection package though.
Really exactly the deal I got back in March (52450/ 46500) I think that’s a good one!

Lawdy, I'm amazed that people on this forum are actually still using the term "MSRP" as if it has any meaning other than marketing BS (BSRP) for uninformed Joe Sixpack's. If a salesman or manager at a dealer used the term MSRP I'd laugh in his face and say, "MSRP? LOL I think you mean invoice price." And that's the nice version of what I'd say assuming I was in a good mood and the stock market is up.

All price discussions should start at invoice price, or you deserve to be fleeced.
Jeep Wrangler JL May incentives...? apple_money-with-wings_44b8_mysmiley.net

Edit: I guess I should concede that it is possible if you were totally aware of invoice price and got big enough MSRP discount that it matched all local dealers' invoice price discount prices, that's great for you. I just think MSRP is a big fat lie and refuse to play that game of bad faith.

Now more than ever, when these sales critters are hurting, all the pressure is on them. Unless you are going on some paid safari, you can wait a little for your Wrangler for the best price.

I've been waiting since like 2016 for the JL. Finally just signed up for Tread Lightly this weekend. And I'm a cash buyer BTW.

For those that have purchased under the EP for all. Is it a straight discount or being done as a cash rebate? Dealers in my area show it differently on their dealer website pricing.

I was originally planning to custom order but the whole shutdown put a damper on those plans, still an option but I want my new Jeep for the summer. I've started virtually negotiating with a dew dealers in the Charlotte area and I'm happy with one or two of the prices I've received....averaging about 10-11% under MSRP (which is about 4-4.5% under invoice). Not quite as great as the 7-8% under invoice quotes I received for a custom order.

One of the dealers noted today that the financing offers and Employee Pricing will be going away in May but isn't sure what the new incentives will be...if any. Any insight here? I'm trying to get another % or two off and hoping the end of the month push will do that.

If you go to the "Jeep Build" site, then go to the "Current Incentives" page, and then click on the "Show Details" you can find this:

Offer Disclosure
[1]Employee pricing discount based on an FCA US sales survey of variance between average MSRP and average employee price per trim before advertised incentives are applied. Discount may vary based on option, package and features, financing terms, availability and other factors. Dealer determines vehicle price. Offer valid on vehicles equipped with a 3.6L V6 24V VVT eTorque Engine Upg I. Customer responsible for $200 administration fee. Must take retail delivery by 06/01/20.

If I'm reading this correctly, the Employee Pricing runs until 06/01/2020

I've been following the pricing for the Jeep Willys Sport since early April, using the Jeep "Build and Price". Using the same format, same equipment and same options, prices have dropped nearly $2,000.00.

I have also found that the "Employee Pricing" will go until the end of May and the "Zero percent financing for 36 months". See below:

[1]Employee pricing discount based on an FCA US sales survey of variance between average MSRP and average employee price per trim before advertised incentives are applied. For well-qualified buyers. Not all buyers will qualify for the lowest rates. Must receive financing through Chrysler Capital. Example down payment is 10%. Monthly charge is per $1,000 financed - see table below. This rate is for estimation purposes only. You may not be able to finance your vehicle at this rate. See dealer for details. Must take retail delivery by 06/01/2020.
APR RATE 36 Months 48 Months 60 Months 72 Months 75 Months 84 Months
0.0% $27.78 $20.83 $16.67 $13.89 $13.33 $11.90
0.9% $28.16 $21.22 $17.05 $14.27 $13.72 $12.29
1.9% $28.60 $21.65 $17.48 $14.71 $14.15 $12.72
2.9% $29.04 $22.09 $17.92 $15.15 $14.59 $13.17
3.9% $29.48 $22.53 $18.37 $15.60 $15.05 $13.62
4.9% $29.93 $22.98 $18.83 $16.06 $15.51 $14.09
5.9% $30.38 $23.44 $19.29 $16.53 $15.97 $14.56
6.9% $30.83 $23.90 $19.75 $17.00 $16.45 $15.04

I also heard that REBATES can be expected soon, but I haven't seen any evidence of this yet.

Having said the above, I live in Calif and found my exact vehicle in Tampa Florida. I've offered to fly out and drive the vehicle home - "if the price is right". So far, dealers are not willing to deal. In my negotiations, I'm not asking for the dealer to "give up the farm" I've been asking for what we all have been tossing around in this forum " a percentage (5%) off MSRP and 5% off the optional equipment. So far, no takers.

I also have a question for those of you in the KNOW. In my searching, I have seen on the window stickers, pricing for the
850RE Automatic Transmission a price of anywhere from $1,500.00 to $2,700.00. Is this just some made up price the dealer is putting on it ?

I’m scared to come and visit the Pricing forum as I worry that I will these new and amazing rebates and incentives being offered now that I’ve pulled the trigger.

That being said, the other two Rubicons I was monitoring at other dealerships have also sold since last Thursday so I feel the Rubicon and Recon inventory is QUICKLY dwindling.

You would think, but dealers around here are not adding much discount. The quotes I've gotten include 4-6% discount plus the factory incentives...
I was told the same thing. The reason being is that there are and will always be plenty of people in the DFW who will pay what the dealership is asking even if you won’t.

If someone is really ready to buy and is looking for a good deal, I recommend doing a little leg work and looking out of state.
