Ended up getting the clutch recall done. Clutch feels better now.

However, on occasion when shifting into reverse there's little resistance and I don't trust it's actually in gear. Going back to N and then back to reverse fixes the feeling when it happens.

Is there anything the mechanic could've missed that would cause this? I know the transmission needs dropped to replace the clutch but seems to me either the shift lever is either connected or not. Intermittent issues tend to be electric not mechanical lol
Ideas before I take it back to the dealership and potentially waste their time?

Sounds like a typical transmission, no tranny goes into a gear from a stop perfectly every time.

This is a different feeling and only does it with reverse. 1st gear has been fine.

I just got mine done, and it seems fine. I thought the clutch seemed a little touchy when I first drove it after getting it back. Embarrassingly, the VERY FIRST thing I did when I got in the Jeep at the dealer, was stall the new clutch! OMG....

Anyways, I drove it around for a little while. The next day, I did a short run on the freeway. After a couple of days, seems like it is feeling normal again. So, all is good.
