Kinda pointless if you ask me.
i agree unless its in the 2500 or 3500 for towing. less stress on the transmission on acc.

I can see it being useful there. But for day to day driving the Jeep I found it annoying.

Now that you mention it, my sticker plainly says I have "Hill Start Assist," but I don't have any option for this on the Uconnect screen, and I've never seen it engage in the field.

It might be there, and I would just never notice it, because I'm not in the habit of rolling back on hills. Since there's nothing in the Uconnect about it, though, I wonder if it's disabled, inactive, or not present in spite of what the window sticker says. Hmmm. I'll have to investigate more closely.

side note... all the automatics have this feature too nowadays
Yikes? Really? So... you're climbing a steep hill and the front end starts to lift, you let your foot off the gas and... the fuckin HSA kicks in locking the back wheels causing you to flip backward? Or does it require brake application first? I sure hope this isn't the case, I just ordered my first automatic Jeep.

Must be fully stoped for the feature to work.
