how do you attach those magnetic tow lights to the soft top of a Jeep? I am flat towing my Jeep behind a motorhome and on the back of the Jeep are e-bikes. The bikes are covered so you don't see the Jeep taillights. I didn't realize the new Jeeps don't have the roll bars. Anyone used a metal plate (maybe will work) inside the top in each corner and just sit the magnets on them? Any ideas? Thanks.

Perhaps find a way to mount them to the bike carrier so they are at the back of everything. Better visibility to the people behind you.

If you can show a picture of what you got going on it might help people. My magnet lights will work on a vertical surface but from your description it sounds like the bikes and rack are the problem so w/o seeing it its hard to be confident on if one is being helpful or not.

Steel bumper was my thought or some metal plates attached to the plastic bumper

We use a Towmate light bar with suction cup mount on the rear glass. “Should” work on bumper.
