Dear Mark: I am just following up on your 2018 Jeep Wrangler Order! Please be advised, the production timing for the 2.0L Engines has been pushed beyond the late-June/early-July that you were previously informed. We currently anticipate sold orders to now begin in Late-July. I will continue to track the status of your 2018 Jeep Wrangler order & will provide email updates as they become available. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we work towards delivering your order. Sincerely, Nicole Jeep Product Information Center

And this from my dealer after I sent the email I got from Nicole

It's horrible. There is no communication to the dealers.

Thanks for the update.

Tell Jeff and Nicole to drop my damn Sahara order and build the Rubi with the rest of our clones, lol. They won’t respond to me beyond that cryptic email from Jeff.

I can’t imagine that PA dealer actually has a turbo.... but if it did, that’d be interesting!

Well... after the 5/29 Cloning of my 2.0 order I had the dealer order another one on 6/6/2018 with the 3.6 V6 Engine. I got the confirmation this morning that the 3.6 V6 on is In Transit to my dealer. I’ll have to check on the ETA to dealer but I must say I am just happy to actually have a vehicle on the way.

They are not going to cancel my 2.0 order. So when it shows up I’ll go test drive it. If it’s a significantly better feel in acceleration I will actually consider a change and take the hit. But something tells me I’ll be satisfied. I was a bit upset about the 2.0 Premium gas requirement. I guess it makes sense for a Turbo. But the one thing I always loved about Jeeps is that they took REGULAR gas.

My bro in law is doing a conversion on his turbo WRX, new intercooler etc so he can convert over to flex fuel. No emissions standards.
