As the title suggests, are these any good? I have a 23 Rubi with the factory sliders and I don't want to replace them. I like them. However, I need something to step on and I found these during my search. Anyone have them and are they any good? I called the owner of the company and they said they are steel but not stainless and they are coated with zinc for rust protection. I kinda wish they were stainless but I imagine that would up the cost. They are already kinda pricey for what they are. Thoughts?

I have 2 new Zinc plated with the black powder coated step, Remember that the $180.00 is for only 1, so a pair would run you $360 if bought new, these are new but heavy

My JLUR is about 6" higher than stock. I have rock slider steps. I looked at these, but want something bigger so it's less likely to misplace your foot. I'm thinking of just making a big bolt-on that hangs down, that's easy to remove for rock crawling.

There are a few companies that offer removable lower steps. I think it was on Northridge`s or extreme terrain site
Something like this and I know there a few manufacturer`s that have them available

I have these in black for the driver and passenger. I like them quite a bit. I was going to put a rock rail/step on but decided on these as I like the stock rocker look and these hide pretty well. And I can remove them easily with a pull pin if I want to offroad and worry about them getting hit.

My only issue is that, depending on the shoes/boots I am wearing and how wet or snowy it is it, it can be hard to get the edge and push it down as I step up. I have been thinking of putting some skater tape on the outer edge but haven't done it yet.

Skater tape is a great idea.

I installed a pair on my 2019 JL, 2.5" MC lift, 35" tires, they definitely help getting in. I like that they tuck up out of the way when not in use and are actually pretty easy to remove if needed. The step, not the mounting base. Never had any issues with them in Arizona. Will see what they do after their first winter in da UP in MIchigan.
