Does anyone know if JL lug nuts are compatible with JK wheels? Have chance to buy 18" Sahara JK wheels to use with extra stock JL Sahara H/T tires.

As above, not sure if JL lug nuts compatible with JK wheel? Pretty sure they will, like to be really sure.

Thanks!

The nuts themselves are not, the bolt pattern are close jk us 5 on 5 and the JL is the meeting equivalent. Basically the studs are a little bigger on the JL so they may be a little bigger.

Yep, both are 5x5 bolt pattern but the studs have different threads.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Yep, JLs are 14mm x1.5 and are require a lot more torque @ 130 ft lbs.

I guess the real question is will JL lug nuts fit a JK wheel? If the bolt pattern is the same is the base of the lug nut hole in the JK wheel a fit?

Thanks Guys/Gals

JK wheels work, JK lug nuts don't on JLs.

Yes I have AEV wheels made for the Jk but use JL lugs but they are not the factory Lugs.

What he said...... JK lugs most definitely do not work on a JL

I even had an issues on my Rockstar wheels where the correct thread on new lugs would not fit on the wheel.. the shoulder of the lug was wider than the countersunk opening on the wheel.

Thanks everyone! I guess what you all are saying that JK lugs don't work on JL's. That's OK, but do JL lugs the ones I am using on JL wheels right now fit into/on 2017/18 JK wheels? The JL lugs have beveled shoulders, do JK wheels have proper bevel to set JL lugs??

I think (?) the 4x guys are saying JK wheels will have different countersink?? SoI would need all new lugs with JK bevel but JL threads? Sounds like I pass on the nicely priced JK wheels!
