Lost backup camera guide lines

Happened to our Jeep twice. It may be similar to the backup camera not working if you put it in reverse too quickly after starting. Apparently the computer needs time to fully boot for everything to work.

I lost my lines today.
I pulled the 20a fuse for the radio, and normal operation returned...

Can't seem to find the 20a fuse...

Is it complicated or long to do the full reboot with a TAZER? I'm having a different issue that the TAZER reboot option might resolve:

HAHA! Yes got my fingers crossed. This issue is preventing me from enjoying my Jeep to it's fullest. Had 2 jeeps in the last 10 years and never had any issues with them, now this one has issues after only weeks of ownership, kinda stressful.

Lost my lines for the first time this morning, '18 moab, everything else seems to be working fine. Tried changing the setting to fixed and nothing, back to active, nothing. Anyone figure this out yet? I'm like 565 miles.

Same problem here, my lines disappear then usually show up on the next start up. Every now and then it takes more than one re-start. This all started after the off road updates. Super annoying and have no time to take to a dealer svc dept.

This was happening to me too. For me I was able to determine it started happening at the same time I had bought a flat USB flash drive for my music and plugged it into USB1 under the Media flip lid on the front dash. Lines would be gone intermittently. Since I have taken the flash drive out my backup lines consistently appear as expected. Put the flash drive back in and they disappear. Not sure if the Uconnect system memory gets overloaded bringing all the songs into local memory and does not have enough memory left to display the back up lines. I don't know if this same problem would occur plugging your phone into that slot. I keep my iPhone plugged into the center console USB2 slot and do not have any negative side effects. I will try plugging my iPhone into the front USB1 and see if the same problem happens. I will also try plugging the flash drive into USB2 in the console or the ones in the back and see if the backup lines stay or disappear.

Bought my 2018 JLUR on Saturday. Had the lines disappear on Sunday. Came back the next time I turned the car off and back on again.

How do you check if your firmware is current?
