OK, went out snow wheeling today.. I have had my jeep for almost 2 years now (2022 Model) and never had this issue. My Lockers have always worked no problem. Today when I engaged the rear, I noticed that it would stay on for a few minutes and then it would go off. I would start up an obstacle and then it would kick off. So then I tried Front and Rear Locked. Same issue. Both lock and engage no problem... Then I start to move and a few minutes later disengages. Also, followed by it disengaging, the Auto Park Disabled messages flashes on the screen. Never seen it do this either.

I have NO clue whats going on. Google search has turned up nothing..

Any Ides?

I’ve seen some older posts on pre-MY21 rubicons that had a sensor issue that prevented the locker from engaging. Otherwise, have you serviced your differential recently?

Sorry I’m not much help, I responded mostly to bump this into some more knowledgeable members view.

Ive never had an issue with them Engaging, This is the first time I have had the issue then them Staying engaged. Both. If it was a sensor, Wouldnt it most likely just be one of them, not both at the same time. And No I have not serviced the diff. Cant imagine needing to, But maybe so. Ive wheeled it pretty hard over the last two years all around CO and Moab.

From my understanding of the electronic control, the front locker may be looking for the rear to be engaged. If so, then a problem in the rear locker might prevent the front from working as well.

I don't think any of the Rubicon lockers from any year are available for purchase from Mopar nor Dana. If it's a mechanical issue inside the locking mechanism of the differential, you can buy the part from Dana under a Bronco part listing.
