I’ve tried looking online and in the forum and can’t find any references. I want the factory Rubicon front bumper but not planning on a winch. I was wondering if anyone has mounted a light bar in the fairlead opening? I know the cover is removable and could probably be modded. I’m also guessing mounting brackets could be fabbed to attach to the bumper or to the winch plate. Anyone ever seen or done it?

The Mopar steel bumper is compatible with, but does not include a winch plate. The plate is rather rather expensive and definitely overkill for mounting a light bar. That being said, you could fab up a simple bracket that mounts between the frame rails for the light bar to sit flush with the removable plate where the winch fairlead mounts. That could look sharp.

You may want to look at the Chinese knockoff steel bumpers available on eBay. I think they already come with a winch plate.

Good to know about the plate. I’m not planning on doing much off roading that I’d need a winch for but I drive a lot of back roads at night. Thought that would give me another option for light down low.
