Seems the best location with after market parts to do it, but during cold months with heater on floor you are blowing hot air on already hot amp? I guess that isn't an issue?
I've only ever seen them mounted under the seat or in the storage cubby (just as warm or warmer with even less airflow) and haven't heard of any issues so I'll just have to see what happens.
