Left side power mirror switch replacement

Does anyone know where I can find information on how to replace the left door mirror power switch. My switch shorted out, I would like to know how to replace switch. Do I need to pull door panel off or can I pop it out. I have a 2019 jeep jlu Sahara.

You need to pull the panel off as there are two fasteners that need to be removed.

Thanks for the info. That is what I thought. Could not find any info on it. The switch is on back order. So now I wait.

Sean M, I know this is an old thread, but can I ask how you knew your switch was shorted out? I ask because my passenger passenger mirror stopped working when my significant other was "manually" trying to help me adjust the passenger side mirror (don't ask) while I was using the power switch. Since the driver's side was still working, I assumed we'd burnt out the mirror motors and so ordered a new one but that one didn't work either. It was only at this point that I hooked the old mirror up to the driver's side connector and found that it still worked.

Since the fuses are fine and my doors have never been off, the only other thing I can guess it might be is the switch, so I was wondering if yours had a similar issue or if it quit working all together.
