Pretty sure I'm going to go with a set of hubcentric rims from Quadratech and go from my stock 18x7.5 Sahara to 17x8.5.

I know 33s will fit on a non-lifted Sahara without issue. 35s will fit well on-road but may experience some rubbing off-road. That leaves 34s as kinda hanging out in the middle without a ton of info out there on where they fit in the overall scheme of tires. Anyone know if they fit without any rubbing or how the 3.6 handles the higher weight?

For reference, here's the wheels if needed - Quadratec '41 Wheel for 07-22 Jeep Wrangler JL, JK & Gladiator JT | Quadratec . I've read they poke beyond the fenders just a tad, which is what I want.

I think when people talk about rubbing, much of the time they are assuming width. You can go slightly taller, in most cases, if the width stays the same or you go narrower. 'Twere me, I wouldn't lift it, and I'd run BFG AT KO2 in 34x10.5x17 flavor. It's kind of like French Vanilla. It's pretty plain, most won't know it's not vanilla, but there is something, just a certain thing you might not be able to express, a certain je ne sais quoi. Anyway, the 34" is one better than 33" without being as offensive as a 35". That being said, I'm talking about a 10.5" width. When people ask, you can tell them, this one goes to 11.

Sometimes 34s are more expensive than 35s and they can be more difficult to source so if you ever have to plug a tire or completely destroy one you won’t have a spare for on road use that can be easily replaced. That being said I’ve never been able to get tires in common sizes same day. If you travel a lot or would be SOL without a spare maybe avoid less common sizes. Honestly I like narrow 34s though.

I ran 285/75R17 on stock wheels for a while and my experience is at full flex and full turn, the front would rub a bit on both the control arms and anti sway bar. The wheels you posted give you almost 1" more back spacing and I believe you should be okay.
