Lasfit Locker Switch Panel - ARB Air Lockers

Good morning,

I’ll be installing my Lasfit kit today. If you have any questions while I’m doing this, right now would be a great time to ask so I can answer questions live.

I’ll come back and clean this OP up once I’m done with the install.

Overview - LasFit left side switch panel. Factory Rubicon locker switch replacement to control front and rear ARB air locker solenoids. Review of LasFit kit to follow. Link will be added to the review OP.

Air System - Dual ARB compressor, 6mm DOT Poly line and fittings, ARB lockers, ARB solenoids, ARB manifold, ARB Air Tank, Expedition ARB pump harness extension, Genesis Air Pressure Sensor, locally fabricated stainless steel line to feed lockers, and AAL dual compressor bracket.

Live comments during install - Notes for review and community knowledge

• My install will include extra parts the installation instructions don't account for. (Mine will be non-typical. Keep that in mind.)
  • RIPP Blower, PSC Steering, Genesis Dual Battery

• The Genesis Dual Battery kit will not allow the use of the Kit D, 3.6L Lasfit bracket.
  • However, this bracket can be used on the driver's side above the brake booster with some modifications. Currently in work.
  • Lasfit kit D includes Locker switch replacement, but also adds 2 more Aux switches for a total of 6 Aux switches for the user. Any user using this many aux switches will likely have a dual battery installed. Along with the garbage factory aux battery, I would expect that many customers will spend money on a dual battery or this kit. If you buy one before the other, then modify later, they will not play well together. This needs to be accounted for by Lasfit and their bracket selection.
• Waterproof the switch panel itself.
• Need different hardware for holding the relay box to the bracket itself.
  • No lock washers
  • The screws do not have at least 2 exposed threads on the back side of the nut for proper TQ clamping force. Customer will end up either stripping the threads or breaking the screw altogether. Lasfit can include slightly longer hardware to mitigate some of this.
• The logo cut into the brackets makes no sense. It looks like an LS, but the inside of the logo material is so thin that I'm bending it just putting the bracket into the Jeep. I would laser etch a logo into the bracket before I have one cut into the bracket. OR thicken up the material in the middle so it doesn't feel like an oversight.

Few pics showing the space with dual battery kit. You certainly don’t want to install it above your fuse box.

The pic with the screw showing no threads is what comes with the kit. I went and picked up some SS hdwr that was long enough to use a nylon nut. I purchased all 8/32 hdwr and it fit through the holes in the relay box great. I'm much more confident now that it won't loosen up over time.

The relay box fit great about the brake booster. Pretty happy with this result after cutting, drilling, and painting the bracket.

The relay box and bracket fits very well with the RIPP Catch Can, as well.

The harness will need to be extended to reach the battery from here.

The 370z had a blown head gasket. Water in Cyl 3. Don't ever buy a junkyard engine from 6 states away that only has a 30 day warranty. This is what happens.

Anyway, back to the Jeep. Wiring cleaned up going to the battery for both the Lasfit and ARB compressor. Center stack coming apart next to mount Lasfit switch panel.

Does the shop that made the stainless steel high pressure air line ship?

I have an ARB twin compressor that will be mounted under the brake booster and an air chuck that’s mounted by the gas cap. I don’t think the 10ft lines available online will get me there

Absolutely, man. I'll ship them to you. Just tell me the length in inches and I'll run up there and get them made for you. They run a teflon sleeve through the braided hose and they'll crimp on the -4 fittings. Not sure if you'll save a lot of money this way, but you can get whatever custom length you need very easily. I certainly won't charge you anything for running up there and to the UPS store.

Center stack is apart.

The LasFit switch bank is nearly identical to the factory switch bank. The red matches perfectly. The chrome plastic is a touch off, but not enough for me to care personally.

LasFit switches are in. They truly are plug and play, as advertised. The locker logic works the same as stock. Rear locker must be on to engage the front. Neither will engage without 4LO. Both disengage if you shift out of 4LO.
