I have a 25 Sport S 2-Door. I apologize for another Sub thread. I have the non upgraded audio. I bought it used a few weeks ago and didnt have the option for the upgraded audio which I had in my 18 Sahara which I traded in with 172K miles.

I had the Audio Uprising dash speakers, not installed yet. But what do I need for extra parts/connectors for the insta;; of the Kicker 51HS10 for install. I'm going to put it under the passenger front seat with velcro. Any other tips would be helpful. Thank You, I appreciate the advice.

A used 25 this early in 26…hope you got a deal! Grats!

There is a number of ways to install the unit. If you don’t know what you’re doing, better get done at an audio shop.

if you are strong enough…wiring is pretty straight forward. Depending on where you want to grab the power from, the amp has a 15A fuse, which should only require 12AWG power wires. Whether you run it to the battery and need a power kit with some grommet work or wires off Amazon and run the power and ground to the passenger kick panel (XY301? Black connector has a prewire for the stock Alpine upgrade on a 25A fuse) and ground points are right next to it. The amp does take speaker level input, so tapping into any of the speakers should do the trick for the signal. Auto turn on is available, so no need to run turn on wire…adjust the gain properly and bump away.

I might have a shop deal with it. My 18 Sahara had 172K miles on it and a rear main seal leak. I did disclose that information before the dealer did the trade in inspection. The gave me twice as much as I was expecting. I couldn't pass it up. My out the door price was cheaper than a used 22 Willy's at a different dealer with twice as much miles. I have been watching a lot of youtube videos about sales. It still was not as smooth as the videos make it seem. But I paid within my budget. I'm really enjoying the 2 door.
