My 24 did not have this so im guessing it started in 25.Bought a 2025 Sahara last month after missing my 2018 WIllys which I sold 4 years ago. Always liked the Willys hood decal that came with it. The Saharas also stood out with their own decal but for some reason Jeep stopped adding the Sahara hood decal and now only has the Sahara letters on the rear door under the handle. Anyone know when and why Jeep did this?
Never seen a Sahara with a hood badge only on the sides above the Wrangler decals.So your 2024 still has a Sahara hood decal? I even walked around the Jeep before buying to be sure they weren't selling a non-Sahara at a Sahara price
No it just came with some sticker lettering by the Jeep badge on the front fenders. Its honestly rather bland and boring. Given that the Sahara is the "luxury" version of the jeep I can see this being logical from a marketing standpoint. the badge on the sides and being more conservative and typical to suv's instead of a loud (ie. large) badge on the hood which people have equated to off-roading.Bought a 2025 Sahara last month after missing my 2018 WIllys which I sold 4 years ago. I think this is the first year they put it on the rear door. Our friend has a '19 and his is on both front fenders. Possibly you were seeing Jeeps on which the owners affixed custom "Sahara" hood stickers. There's at least one vendor (Pixel Decals) who is capable of making custom, font-matched decals that could pass for factory, even though they never existed as such.
