Hey Guys,
My son is not here on the forum so he asked me to ask this question so you guys can hopefully give some assistance in getting this resolved.
He lives out of state s he’s not close enough for me to help him and I don’t have a soft top anyway so here goes his issue and some pics
So here’s what’s going on. During extreme wind and while the top is closed and locked, the hook and loop closure which secures the roof overhang to the window inserts (see photos) isn’t strong enough to stay fastened. When this happens, the wind will blow the roof open momentarily to let in wind or rain. Is there a solution which anyone has found, such as installing brass snaps to the roof and window to aid the velcro, or is there an easier solution that’s sold aftermarket? Maybe I’ll just have to get over it also.
