Soft top issue

Hello,

I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL sport and my locking mechanism is not working and my soft too won’t retract when it is released, I am not sure if it is under warranty.

when I go right bring the roof back, at the half way point where the roof is folded the rear support bar just collapsed down and it hen the top half will not collapse with it. I am not sure why it is doing this. Any thoughts would be great

I am having same issue and not sure exactly where to look-
Everything looks good on my Jeep... Was hoping you may be able to share what you did.

When I flip the soft top open to sunrider position, the far back of the soft top immediately falls down without having to use the release lever in the back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So I’ve been having this issue and what I found was that the top had separated from one of the bows. The sunrider position doesn’t work for me unless the rear windows are in. If I want it down all the way I have to flip the front then grab the bow just above the rear door and slide it back by hand.

Yep that is how mine works.
I’ll have to look and see if I can find where it separated and put it back together….

Yeah that’s not gonna happen unless you take it to a canvas shop or buy a new top

Trust me I was hoping for that too. When you look at the bow you’ll see a pocket sewn into the top and those are what ripped on mine which let the rest of the glued middle separate fully from the bow
