So I was able to activate these with JScan. This is for Mopar OEM LED headlights only. I have a 2022 Willys Sport and the 4th wire is installed. Its actually included in all Sport models from 2021 onward. These are the settings I activated in JScan and in that order:

LED Settings:
1. LED Low Beam
2. LED High Beam
DRL Settings:
3. Signature Lamps or Mirror Repeater Present - Pin A5 & Pin A7 (Halo)
4. Signature Light Present Present On/Off

Here’s the threat where I found these steps:

Hey AirWrangler, I am about to install the Mopar LED headlights as well. I didn't get the fogs or turn signals since I can just use some LED bulbs. Have you had any issues with the JScan settings you performed?

I'm just making sure the following areas you mentioned are all I need to change:

LED Low Bean Lamps Present On/Off = Active
LED High Beam Lamps Present On/Off = Active
Signature Lamps or Mirror Repeater Present - Pin A5 & Pin A7 (Halo) = Signature Lamp
Signature Light Present On/Off = Active

I have a 2023 Wrangler Rubicon that didn't come with any LED exterior lights. But, I am under the impression that the 4th wire in the harness for the headlight assemblies is already there from the factory. Any input?

I have a 21 JLURD that came stock with Halogens. I swapped in a set of OEM LED headlights and could never get the damn Halos to work. After reading way too many threads I finally got them to work and I’ll briefly explain what I did in case someone needs. Firstly it seems like at some point during 2021 Jeep started equipping the JL and JT(all models) with 4 pin connector harness to the headlights. Some jeeps left the factory with both the left and right side having the 4 pin connector. In my case the driver side headlight connector had out but the passenger side did not. Now if neither of your headlights have this you likely need the jumper cable that you have to wire into the BCM. Thank the maker I didn’t need that because the damn thing is discontinued and only a couple Mopar sites have them but they are $220. In my particular case I needed a new harness for the passenger side PN 68414409AB
If your Jeep came factory with halogens this part will say it’s not for your model based on the VIN. For $20 I rolled the dice based on a thread I read on the JT Forums.
After installing the harness which took all of 5 minute’s and I managed to not even have to take off the grill or headlight to do it. I followed the above settings on JSCAN and they are working perfectly! It took me months just to piece this info together. I hope this helps anyone looking to swap in a set of OEM LED’s and get them fully functioning with the halos.

I have a 22 JLURD no LED package. I’m installing only the OEM LED headlamps, plug was a direct fit and the headlights came on. Now I’m trying to program to get the halos to work following the above steps but my JScan settings are different.

As documented above in the OP’s post:
1. LED Low Beam
2. LED High Beam
DRL Settings:
3. Signature Lamps or Mirror Repeater Present - Pin A5 & Pin A7 (Halo)
4. Signature Light Present Present On/Off

Mine:
1. LED Low Beam
2. LED High Beam
DRL Settings:
3. Signature Lamps Pin A5 & Pin A7
4. Mirror Repeater Present - Pin E30 & E31
5.. Signature Light Present Present

Why can’t I see the same settings as OP and others?

I also tried some additional settings but not able to get the halos to work.

Thoughts?

A couple posts up I had that issue and JScan didn’t help until I added the new wire.

@NyRey87, just to confirm, before adding the wire your headlights would work, but the halos wouldn’t. And once you added the wire, you saw the halos setting in JScan?

Once I added the wire then the Halo setting on JScan actually worked when toggled on. I have them set to running as DRL’s. Which they do and when the headlights are on they stay on as well.

My fender flare led chop kit from Quake was truly plug and play, unlike the AAL Fender Chop LED kit I had previously, they would work but the error message never went away no matter what I did.

But I’m not even seeing a halo setting. Will it just magically show up once I add the wire?

I don’t know why yours doesn’t show that information, might be worth reaching out to JScan about. Sorry

So I checked the wires going to each headlamp. Driver side has 4, passenger side has 3. I’ve ordered the harness for the passenger side and hopefully that is all that will be needed.

I’m still unsure why JScan doesn’t show any halo option. Or at least why the driver side halo isn’t working even though it has the right wiring.

Will know more once I plug in the passenger side harness I’ve ordered.

So as an update, while I was waiting on the passenger side harness, I noticed the driver side halo come on. It turns out the programming I did previously was correct despite some of the JScan options not matching what the OP listed.

Once I replaced the short harness on the passenger side with the new 4-wire one, that halo came on also.

Thanks @NyRey87 for posting about the wire as that was the key missing component. And of course, without that 4th wire providing power to the halo ring, no amount of programming would have made it work.

So satisfying when they finally come on! Happy to hear it worked for you! That’s what I love about this forum! Enjoy man!
