Last week I swapped out my Rubicon plastic bumper with halogen foglights on my 2021 JLUR with the halogen light group for a nearly new Rubicon Steel Bumper with LED foglights knowing that I would need to reprogram the ECU to accept the LED foglights with either a JSCAN or Tazer. After the installation of my bumper I did have my foglight selector in the on position and the LED foglights did come on. However, they never came on again after that, which is what I expected from reading about the issue on the forum. My dealership actually offered to update my ECU this week since I was having a service performed, but they couldn't get the foglights to come on either. I just chalked it up to them not knowing what they were doing and figured I would just do it myself through JSCAN. I just received the cable and BT adapter to connect to JSCAN today so I figured my ECU just needed updating to the correct settings. Inside my JSCAN adaptations I see there are 3 LED foglight adaptations (see pic). I changed the front foglight setting to Active. Still no foglights. I noticed the 2 LED rear foglight adaptations at the bottom of the menu. Surprisingly the first adaptation says active and the second one says deactivated for rear LED foglights...I deactivated the first one, but it keeps automatically reactivating this option. Not sure why? Has anyone successfully updated their halogen foglights to LED foglights on a 2021 using JSCAN? I am receiving 12V at the foglight connector, but is there a way to test the LED foglights themselves? I can't imagine they burned out after being turned on once using halogen settings. Or should I try to do the same process with a Tazer? I just didn't want to buy a Tazer, or new foglights, if I didn't have to. Thanks in advance!
