Figured it out. I had to enable basically all the settings in JSCAN.

I know this is an old thread, but if you can, could you post your jscan settings for this. I am installing these lights on my willys sport with factory halogens. I think i can use your wiring config and jscan config to make it work, but i need to verify my jscan config with yours . many thanks

Sure thing, when i get home ill plug it in to get everything.

But essentially any setting relating to the DRL being LED i changed.

I also had an issue where the turn signal was shorting out the DRL, but found a led turn signal option.

Thanks for the quick reply. I look forward to the jscan settings. Can you tell me more about the shorting issue, was it wiring or a setting?

It was a setting. Back then with my old version of the rugged ridge DRLs it was fine, i guess they updated something because the turn signal would short drl. I guess the BCM didn’t like something but changing the turn signal setting fixed it.

Running OE drls now though with the same settings and no issues.

Set the DRLs up for amber in the front, that way they match with the XK glow fender vent markers I installed. Did as you said, turned on all the DRL settings and set DRL location to turn signal to get amber running light. Thanks for the insight , help and response!

Question. I hooked everything up without the annoying relay, and it seems to work fine. Any reason you can think of why we need to use the relay? It is bulky and noisy
