Using Jscan to change drl settings

I’m installing aftermarket led headlights(changing out halogens) that have a drl ring.

Can I just change the Settings in jscan to include DRL rather than tapping into the wiring? Has anyone ever messed around with this?

If you have halogen lights and put in say Mopar LED’s or similar like Oracle that has halos you will have to run a power wire to a source as the plug on the standard halogen does not have the wire needed to run halos, also you can tell JSCAN to use the halos as the DRL as it’s not being controlled thru the ECM
