JLUR front camera recommendation

My 2024 JLUR did not come with the front camera, only the rear camera. Is there a recommended front camera that can fit in the grill like OEM?

I installed the Z Automotive one mentioned in this thread. One thing I did not see mentioned is that the input, designed for the cargo area, is analog. It is a very noticeable drop in quality but quite functional. I use it on occasion -- and it is better than nothing.

EDIT: *I have a Gladiator, so maybe the input is different? I'm curious if that is the case.

It was not hard, but take your time getting the clocking correct (my view from it is not quite perfect in that regard). I found it helpful to have a second person give guidance as you make small changes. This might be the most tedious part, but the project isn't too bad overall.

When I get a new Wrangler, it will be the factory front camera. So far as I know, there isn't a way to add the crisp OEM digital/higher res camera as an aftermarket option. Good luck!

I can't imagine how bad it is if the OEM one is considered crisp high res in comparison.

I have the ZAuto camera in my JL and the input is the same. The image quality is 480p if I recall. The picture quality stinks but it’s better than no camera. ZAuto does warn you that the image quality is not great.
You have to have to buy the Tazer as well so factor that into the cost.

I just added a front camera on my 2023 JL w/8.4 radio. Camera from Amazon was $33 w/cable. Video cable that plugs into radio was $25 from Zautomotive. They also have step by step instructions on the install. I mounted the camera at the bottom of the license plate frame. I can tilt the bracket holding the plate. I powered the unit from a cable splitter below the radio. Used my Tazar mini to enable the "Cargo" camera input of the radio.
