Hey everyone!

I have a stock JLU without LED headlights. I want to upgrade to LEDs but there are so many options out there. My biggest thing is that some of them say they can easily be installed in non-LED vehicles and some don't mention it at all. What should I be looking for in terms of being able to make the switch?

Really looking for some plug-n-play with some color options.

Thanks!

Oracle lighting has some great packages. Regardless who you go with you will either need to have the dealer program for led or buy some type of programmer to do it yourself tazer JScan etc.

As for myself, I just added LED replacement lamps, and am quite satisfied.

Hi Mari, check out our ColorSHIFT Oculus! This is plug-and-play with no flash or program needed. You get the awesome output with sharp cutoff and focus; additionally, they also offer the RGB color options with your choice of controller.

I also added LED bulbs to my stock halogen housing and extremely happy with the results. The cutoff is clean with no blinding of oncoming drivers.

I recently added the Oracle Oculus 9's to my jeep, replacing the halogens and the improvement is incredible. I did a ton of research and think the Oracle's are a very good balance of price/performance at about $500. Super easy to install (although why on earth they make the halo wiring about 6 inches too short to make it into the fuse box without crimping I do not know) and if you are going from halogens you don't need any programming/dealer involvement. Literally just plug and play.

(Not the best picture but you get the idea!)

Thanks for the review, Tom! Great to hear this nice feedback. BTW for anyone installing, you can simply pull the wire apart to give more length to reach into the fuse box. :like:

for someone who hasn't seen these in person yet, do explain. This is a common issue I see everyone running into.

These are what I'm leaning towards but then wondering about replacing the fog lights as well and wanting them to match. I'm glad to hear that you liked them and it was easy to do. That was really helpful, thanks!
