Are JLU Rubicon front axle and suspension interchangeable with a Gladiator Rubicon front axle and suspension? Considering the purchase of a JLU R with a bad axle and have access to a new Gladiator pull-off unit.

If I am not mistaken, the Gladiator axles are used in the Rubicon 4xe. So yes, I would think so.

Yes, the front's are interchangeable.

The rear's require some cutting and welding, but it's a simple process.

Can you share some more details about the Jeep you're looking at buying? Pics?

What happened that the axle needs replaced?

I will make a complete project post if this moves forward. If I can put the deal together, it will happen within the next week. The current issue with the Jeep is a broken front axle at the FAD location. I will post pics and all the numbers but for the moment I am in research and parts pricing mode.

I am trying to decide if I am going to buy an axle housing from Mopar and swap the parts ( I have done gears before) or buy a pull-off axle. The pull-off I am currently looking at is off a Gladiator Rubicon and was not sure how applicable it would be. Luckily it is 4:10 just like the broken one.

I was not successful at the auction so will not be doing this particular project. I have a fairly strict approach to valuation and bidding and I will not chase a deal when it gets out of my predetermined scenario.
