Some information of my car:
2022 Jeep JLR
Less than 1700 miles on the car.
Car has been in a minor accident (got side swiped). Was flatbeded to a tow yard but I did not pick it up for atleast 2 months
Battery on the car drained out, it does not start now.

Things I did to try to fix the issue:
I took off both the main battery and the AUX battery and charged it to full. Both batteries hold a 12.8V according to my multimeter. I reinstalled the batteries onto my car. No start.

I have checked the fuses in the fuse box, none of them seem to be short.

I have pushed all the fuses in to make sure they are not loose or half way off.

I have pulled off the high amp array fuses to check for continuity with a multimeter and they are all good.

Result: I did everything mentioned above and still the engine does not start. I hear an electrical whirling for a second or two when I tried to start it, but no crank. There is an engine light that appears on the dash, so I put my Autel in the OBD and it says I have a engine code P0562: System Voltage Low. My jeep reads that the battery voltage is 12.3 V. My heated seats and heated steering wheel option on the screen is greyed out.

I have done some research combing the forum and still could not figure out why my car would not start.

Only thing I can think of is pulling out my starter and testing it out, but that is the last thing I want to do. Also I don’t want to flat bed my jeep to dealer just yet.

Any help and suggestions is appreciated.

You could load test the batteries, but does sound like both batteries went bad while sitting there. Not to be rude but why the wait to get your Jeep back?

I will do a load test and get back to you. I was not around when the accident happened.

Try a different battery for the main, or jump it. Your batteries may be toast.
Tried to jump the battery and swap the battery with another Jeep JLUR. Doesnt start.

Vehicle batteries that are near the end of their practical service life (no matter their age) can show a proper resting voltage -- e.g., the 12.3V that you observed -- and then fall off a cliff when an engine cranking demand occurs. They can also cause seemingly unrelated issues, such as the dashboard warning lights illuminating concurrently. N.B.: 12.3V is the absolute floor for resting voltage.

Best to either load test the current primary battery, at a minimum. Better yet, install two brand new batteries of the correct specifications and go from there.

Did you change out both batteries or just one? If just the one, did you disconnect the other?

I changed out the main battery to a battery I know that is working from a JLUR. Didnt work. If I pull out my AUX battery and leave the main battery, will my car still start?

Last thing I want to do. The dealer in my area does not have a good reputation. But I will do this once I cant figure it for myself in the next two weeks

Nope. Planning to buy a battery load tester and test both batteries after work and see if it is actually the battery issue.
You might already know this, but you can take the batteries to an auto parts store and they'll test them there, usually for free. Unless you want to buy a load tester...

There could be a fuel pump inertia switch that is preventing it from starting that got triggered when your vehicle was hit. Also you need to get a battery tester that will test the load on your batteries. You cannot just look at the voltage and say it's good. They're inexpensive on amazon.
