Some information of my car:
2022 Jeep JLR
Less than 1700 miles on the car.
Car has been in a minor accident (got side swiped). Was flatbeded to a tow yard but I did not pick it up for atleast 2 months
Battery on the car drained out, it does not start now.
Things I did to try to fix the issue:
I took off both the main battery and the AUX battery and charged it to full. Both batteries hold a 12.8V according to my multimeter. I reinstalled the batteries onto my car. No start.
I have checked the fuses in the fuse box, none of them seem to be short.
I have pushed all the fuses in to make sure they are not loose or half way off.
I have pulled off the high amp array fuses to check for continuity with a multimeter and they are all good.
Result: I did everything mentioned above and still the engine does not start. I hear an electrical whirling for a second or two when I tried to start it, but no crank. There is an engine light that appears on the dash, so I put my Autel in the OBD and it says I have a engine code P0562: System Voltage Low. My jeep reads that the battery voltage is 12.3 V. My heated seats and heated steering wheel option on the screen is greyed out.
I have done some research combing the forum and still could not figure out why my car would not start.
Only thing I can think of is pulling out my starter and testing it out, but that is the last thing I want to do. Also I don’t want to flat bed my jeep to dealer just yet.
Any help and suggestions is appreciated.
